Description as for species, but leaves trifoliolate; indumentum of 0.2–0.5 mm long, simple, usually arched hairs. Flowers spring.

Apparently endemic to Victoria. Occurring between the Grampians and Ben Major near Lexton. Grows in open-forest, woodland and heath on rocky substrates.
