Goodenia geniculata
R.Br. Bent GoodeniaDecumbent to ascending perennial to 20 cm high; stems to 25 cm long, sometimes stoloniferous, hirsute. Leaves mainly basal, linear to oblanceolate, 3–10 cm long, 3–10 mm wide, acute or obtuse, surfaces usually hirsute, margins dentate, base attenuate into an indistinct petiole; cauline leaves smaller. Inflorescences terminal racemes to 5 cm long, or flowers solitary in axils; peduncle 1.5–7 cm long, often geniculate at bracteoles at anthesis; pedicels non-articulate 2–6 cm long; bracteoles linear, 4–5 mm long. Sepals oblong to narrow-oblong, 4–5 mm long; corolla 14–16 mm long, hirsute outside, pubescent inside, yellow, abaxial lobes 7–8 mm long, wings 1.5–3 mm wide; indusium broad-obovate, folded; ovules 14–16. Fruit obovoid, to c. 10 mm long, valves shallowly bifid; seeds elliptic, 3–4 mm long, papillose, yellow-brown, wing vestigial. Flowers mainly Sep.–Jan.
