Accepted in VicFlora as:
Isolepis montivaga
This name has apparently been misapplied in Victoria to Isolepis montivaga. Isolepis alpina is apparently endemic to Tasmania, and is distinguished by its glumes that are more the 2.5 mm long and often lack a distinctly thickened midrib, plants also tend to have relatively long culms.
