2 varieties, Romulea flava var. minor naturalized in Australia. This variety is distinguished from Romulea flava ​var. flava, which is occasionally cultivated as an ornamental garden plant, by the latter having flowers more than 2.5 cm long. See account under R. flava var. minor.
