Riccardia lobulata
(Colenso) E.A.Hodgs.Dioicous. Gemmae produced near apex. In dense cushions or scattered thalli. Thallus 2–3 (–4)-pinnate, (4–) 5–10 (–15) mm long, 0.2–0.4 mm wide, convex ventrally, plane, concave or convex dorsally in transverse section, with acute winged margins, 3–6 cells thick, without a notch at apex and with persistent apical mucilage papillae in two rows ventrally and along margins laterally, with a smooth cuticle. Calyptra 1–1.5 (–2) mm long, with pachydermal cells forming a smooth cap at apex.
GGr, HSF, VAlp. Recorded in Victoria from the Grampians, Yarra Ranges, Mt Baw Baw and the Errinundra Plateau on wood in swamps or in rainforest along creeks. Also, New South Wales, Tasmania and New Zealand.
