Perennial, tufted, glabrous herbs. Leaves in basal rosette, irregularly lobed or toothed, petiolate with base sheathing. Inflorescence irregularly compound or simple (not in Victoria); bracts cuneate, 1–3-lobed. Flowers bisexual; sepals inconspicuous; petals ovate, caducous; nectary prominent, shortly conical. Fruit ovoid, scarcely flattened, slightly grooved at mericarp junction; mericarps equally 5-ribbed; carpophore persistent.
2 species, both endemic in south-eastern Australia.
