Ditrichum rufoaureum
(Hampe) J.H.WillisMonoicous. Loosely or closely gregarious. Stems c. 10 mm long, simple or occasionally branched. Leaves wide-spreading from upper part of sheathing leaf base, flexuose, gradually tapering to a linear subula from ovate to elliptic base, 2–4 (–5) mm long, channelled in subula; apices acute; costae excurrent, occupying most of subula width; margins entire or slightly denticulate at apices, erect or incurved in subula, without a border; cells of subula bistratose, quadrate to rectangular, 10–30 μm long, 3–7 μm wide, smooth; cells of base unistratose, rectangular to linear, 17–65 μm long, 3–17 μm wide, smooth. Setae 1–1.5 cm long, reddish-brown at base, becoming paler above. Capsules erect to suberect, ovoid, symmetric or slightly asymmetric, 1–2 mm long. Peristome of 16 entire teeth. Opercula conic, 0.5–1 mm long.
