Tuber absent. Stem reduced. Leaves in convex to almost flat basal rosette, spathulate, 8–20 mm long; stipules apparently absent but fused to base of leaves, 1–2(–2.5) mm long. Inflorescence axillary, 1–4(–8), 15–90 mm long, racemose, c. 7–many-flowered; bracts absent; pedicels 2–5 mm long, reflexed after flowering; sepals 5, ovate, 3–5 mm long, hairy, laciniate; petals 5, obovate, 4–5 mm long, orange or red; styles 3, each distally divided 2 or 3 times. Flowers Aug.–Nov.
