Peduncles slender, mostly 0.5–1.8 mm diam., usually longer than leaves; flowers often spreading; bracts acuminate, mostly longer than sepals; keel of anterior sepals more or less equal to membranous margins. Flowers spring and summer.
MuM, Wim, GleP, VVP, VRiv, MuF, GipP, OtP, WaP, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT, EGL, EGU, WPro, HSF, HNF, Strz. Also naturalised WA, NT, SA, Qld, NSW, ACT, Tas. Native to Europe and western Asia. Naturalised in New Zealand. Common and widespread throughout much of Victoria, usually in disturbed sites, often abundant in near-coastal areas.
