Hibbertia pedunculata R.Br. ex DC. does not occur in Victoria. It is endemic to New South Wales. Victorian plants previously assigned to this species are now referrable to H. dispar Toelken, H. exponens Toelken, H. exposita Toelken, H. porcata Toelken, and H. samaria Toelken.
