Perennial herbs, rhizome creeping. Leaves in a basal rosette; lamina ovate to c. circular; petiole sheathing at base. Inflorescence terminal, a simple umbel; flowers bisexual or male. Sepals absent; petals ovate to obovate, clawed at base, inflexed at tip; nectary shortly conical. Fruit dorsiventrally flattened; carpophore shortly bifid; mericarps ovate, smooth, ribs inconspicuous; carpophore persistent, shortly bifid at apex.
3 species restricted to south-eastern Australia, 1 on the mainland, 2 in Tasmania.
