Erect annual herbs with slender taproots. Leaves 1–3-pinnate, petiolate. Inflorescence compound or simple umbels, terminal and lateral; involucral bracts absent or few; bracteoles several, lobed or dissected. Flowers bisexual or male, white; sepals minute or absent; petals oblong to obovate, apex inflexed; nectary depressed. Fruit linear or narrowly oblong, laterally compressed, with a long sterile beak up to 4 times as long as fertile portion; vittae minute or obscure, 5–7; mericarps with prominent fine ribs; carpophore entire or deeply bifid at apex.
