Erect shrub to 60 cm high; branches glabrous to tomentose. Vestiture of short curved to coiled simple hairs. Leaves sessile, linear-cuneate to spathulate, 5–12 mm long, 2.5–5 mm wide, mostly glabrous; apex truncate, emarginate, or rounded, often lobed near apex; ± folded along the midvein above; margins spreading to slightly recurved, distant from the scarcely raised central vein. Flowers sessile, terminal on short shoots, with 1 linear-lanceolate bract c. 1.5 mm long; sepals 4–6 mm long, unequal, glabrous aside from a few simple hairs along margins; petals broadly obovate, 4–6 mm long, yellow; stamens 10–12; carpel 1, glabrous. Flowers Sep.–Oct. (2 records).
EGU, HNF. Also NSW. In Victoria known only from the upper Genoa River, near the border with New South Wales.
