Lilaeopsis polyantha
(Gand.) H.Eichler Australian LilaeopsisPhyllodes linear or subulate, cylindrical or slightly flattened, with thin septa, 1–35 cm long, 0.5–5 mm wide. Umbel 2–10-flowered; peduncle 6–45 mm long; pedicels 2–10(–22) mm long; inflorescence recurving with fruit set. Petals usually purple, c. 1 mm long. Fruit ellipsoid, 1.5–3.5 mm long, 1–2 mm wide; mericarp with acute dorsal and intermediate ribs and two obtuse corky lateral ribs. Flowers summer.

Plants from the Little Desert have fruits with conspicuous white thickened lateral ribs. These may warrant formal recognition.
