Onobrychis

Mill.
Taxonomic status Not accepted

Onobrychis viciifolia Scop. (Sainfoin), is grown for fodder in Victoria and has been collected at Rutherglen (in 1903) but is doubtfully naturalised in Victoria as it is in New South Wales and Tasmania. It is a perennial herb with imparipinnate leaves, showy red- or purple-veined pink flowers and discoid, bristly pods.
