Ozothamnus cuneifolius
(F.Muell. ex Benth.) Anderb. Wedge-leaf EverlastingErect shrub to 2 m high; branchlets densely cottony, not viscid. Leaves spreading, oblanceolate, 7–35 mm long, 2.5–9.5 mm wide, glabrous above, densely cottony beneath, greyish or yellow-resinous, apex rounded to truncate, margins flat or slightly recurved, or minutely toothed; petioles to 1.5 mm long. Inflorescences corymbose to hemispherical, (1–)4.5–9 cm diam. Capitula (50–)150–300, yellowish-brown, cylindric, 3.5–4.5 mm long, 1.5–2 mm wide; involucral bracts 15–17, innermost spathulate, with lamina elliptic, 1–1.5 mm long, suberect or reflexed, flat, white, margin irregular; receptacle bracts absent (rarely 1); female florets absent; hermaphrodite florets 4–6. Cypsela obloid, 1–1.5 mm long, densely papillose; pappus bristles c. 2.5 mm long, apex narrowly clavate. Flowers Nov.–Jan.
