Thallus depth 2–3 times length of dorsal (upper, emergent) surface; dorsal surface (0.3–)0.5–0.8 mm long, 0.2–0.5 mm wide (length to width ratio 1.6–2.5), whitish green, intensely green laterally (on 'margin'), flat and sharply edged laterally, with 8–25 stomata.
Wim, VVP, VRiv, MuF, CVU, EGL, EGU. Also WA, NT, SA, Qld, NSW. South-east Asia. Poorly known species, and rarely collected. Known only from a few contemporary, widely scattered localities at Vectis South in the Wimmera, Bunbartha and Tongala in north central Victoria, Kororoit Creek at Deer Park (western suburb of Melbourne), and Newmerella in East Gippsland.
