Glandular annual plants to 50 cm high with pale pink flowers on short petioles, deeply 2-lobed petals that open at night, and large capsules (to 2 cm long). This species has been recorded once in Victoria from Geelong North in 1925. It appears to be an ephemeral garden escape, never truly naturalising in Victoria.
