Fl. Austral. 7: 416 (1878) APNI
Formerly regarded as a member of the Victorian flora on the basis of a 1964 specimen purportedly from Dadswells Bridge near Ararat, but the habitat and geology are incompatible with that known for the species (dry, semi-arid sites on typically calcareous substrates). The specimen is considered to have been mislabelled and was almost certainly collected near Coonalpyn, South Australia from where the collector is known to have made several gatherings the previous day and where the species is known to occur.
