Rhizome long-creeping, scaly. Lamina once pinnate with moderate to deeply lobed pinnae (almost 2-pinnate), basal pinnae not reduced in length; midveins with flat, thin scales; basal veins on adjacent lobes joining, the rest free. Sori round, in one row either side of mid-rib, away from pinna margins; indusium kidney-shaped; sporangium lacking glands or hairs on annulus, but with a single elongate multicellular glandular hair on stalk of sporangium; spores spinulose.
Complex of 3 species; 1 occurring in Australia.
