Xerochrysum viscosum
(DC.) R.J.Bayer Sticky EverlastingErect, taprooted annual or perennial herb, 20–90 cm high; stems much branched, sometimes viscid. Leaves narrow-linear, mostly 2–14 cm long, 0.5–4.0 mm wide (lower leaves sometimes to 1 cm wide), viscid and papillose, apex acute, margins revolute. Capitula terminal in panicle-like or corymbose inflorescence, 1–3.5 cm diam.; involucral bracts obtuse, 0.3–1.0 cm long, golden-yellow, smooth, apex mucronate; florets yellow, female florets in a single outer series. Cypselas 2–3.5 mm long; pappus yellow, 4–8 mm long. Flowers Sep.–Mar.
