Loosely mat-forming herb, to 12 cm high and 50 cm diam. Leaf-lamina 3–13 mm long, 9–27 mm wide, discolorous with abaxial surface paler; petiole 3–12 cm long, slender; stipules scarious, partially fused to petiole, acuminate to laciniate. Umbels 3–7-flowered; bracts 5–8, ovate, 2–4 mm long. Flowers subsessile; sepals to 0.5 mm long; petals white to yellow with darker midrib, c. 1 mm long. Fruit ovate to elliptic, 2–3 mm long, 1–2 mm wide. Flowers Nov.–Jan.

HNF, SnM, VAlp. Also NSW. Rare in Victoria, occurring in moist alpine herbfields, rock crevices and near streams at e.g. Mts Buller, Bogong, Hotham and Cobberas.
