Diplotaxis muralis
(L.) DC Wall RocketAnnual or biennial, with sparse, stiff hairs towards base. Stems erect or ascending, 10–60 cm high. Basal leaves petiolate, variable, toothed or with triangular lobes; stem leaves uncommon. Sepals 3–5 mm long, half spreading; petals 4–9 mm long, lemon-yellow, abruptly clawed; ovary sessile. Fruit spreading, 2–4 cm long (including beak), 1–3 mm wide, not on stalk extending beyond end of pedicel; valves slightly constricted between seeds; beak c. 2 mm long, narrowly conical; pedicel 4–60 mm long; seeds c. 1 mm long, yellow-brown. Flowers Feb.–Apr., Aug.–Oct.
