Annual herbs, with bifid or (not in Victoria) 4-fid hairs. Leaves pinnately lobed, toothed or entire. Inflorescence a raceme, sometimes beginning as a corymb. Sepals spreading; petals clawed, white; stamens 6. Fruit erect to spreading, less than 3 times as long as broad, dehiscent, flattened at right-angles to the narrow septum; style short, stigma sometimes capitate; valves not or slightly winged; seeds in 2 rows, mucilaginous layer developing when hydrated.
4 species, all endemic to Australia.
