Annual herb, with simple and shortly stalked, branched hairs. Leaves in basal rosette and cauline, entire to pinnately lobed. Inflorescence a dense raceme. Sepals spreading, inner and outer pair different; petals clawed, white; stamens 6. Fruit linear, more than 3 times as long as wide, dehiscent; style short, stigma depressed-capitate; valves with prominent midvein and less distinct recticulum of secondary veins; seeds in 2 rows per locule.
A single, endemic species.
