Leuzea repens
(L.) D.J.N.HindErect or ascending herb to 1 m high; stems branched, ribbed, pubescent. Leaves pubescent to almost glabrous; basal leaves oblanceolate in outline, to 15 cm long, deeply to shallowly lobed, withering early or absent; cauline leaves oblong to lanceolate, 1–5 cm long, 2–8 mm wide, acute to mucronate, entire or distantly toothed. Capitula 5–9 mm diam.; involucral bracts pubescent, pale green; outer bracts obovate to orbicular, with a broad entire appendage; inner bracts lanceolate with an acuminate plumose appendage. Florets numerous; corolla c. 10 mm long, much exceeding involucre. Cypselas 3–4 mm long, pale; pappus to 8 mm long. Flowers Oct.–May.

Widespread in north-western and northern Victoria, often in irrigated croplands or other disturbed sites.
