Sannantha pluriflora
(F.Muell.) Peter G.WilsonErect shrub 2–4 m high; branches sometimes with drooping tips. Leaves lanceolate to oblanceolate or elliptic, spreading, 7–30 mm long, 1–6.5 mm wide; apex usually acute; base rounded; margins entire. Flowers 2–9 in axillary umbels, white, to 6 mm across; peduncle nearly as long as leaf; pedicel to 5 mm long; bracteoles narrowly triangular; hypanthium obconical; calyx-lobes broad, triangular; petals orbicular, to 1.5–4 mm long; stamens 7–20, none opposite petals, filaments curved inward; ovary 3-celled. Fruit flat-topped, c. 3 mm diam.; seeds flattened wedge-shaped. Flowers mainly Nov.–Apr.
GipP, EGL, EGU, HSF, MonT. Also NSW. In Victoria confined to the far east where growing mainly along streams. A form occurring in dry rocky areas (e.g. Little River Gorge near Wulgulmerang, Tubbut area), with blunt, elliptic leaves, may represent a distinct taxon.
