Dittrichia graveolens
(L.) Greuter StinkwortSticky, erect, much-branched, camphor-scented annual 20–75(–120) cm high, with simple and glandular hairs. Leaves sessile, linear to linear-oblanceolate, 1–4(–7) cm long, 1–3(–10) mm wide, apex acute, base subamplexicaul, entire to finely toothed, pubescent with simple and glandular hairs. Capitula 5–7 mm diam., in pyramidal panicles, peduncles 0–5 mm long; involucral bracts reflexing in fruit, 2–7 mm long, outer bracts glandular, hairy particularly on margins; inner bracts c. glabrous. Florets yellow to reddish; ligules 4–7 mm long. Cypselas ellipsoid, 1.5–2 mm long; pappus 3–4 mm long Flowers mainly Mar.–Apr.

Widespread and common across much of Victoria, often on roadsides, grazing land, wasteland and other disturbed sites. Declared a noxious weed in this State.
