Atriplex acutibractea subsp. karoniensis

Plant usually shrubby and intricately branched. Leaves usually weakly or strongly folded, mostly to c. 6 mm(–10 mm) long. Fruiting bracteoles subsessile, oblong, ovate or obovate, 2–4 mm long, slightly expanded in the upper part and usually obscurely 3-toothed at apex (the central tooth longest), with or without 2 or 4 warty protuberances, shortly thickened at base. Fruits Apr., Jul., Oct. (3 records).
