Atriplex acutibractea

Procumbent or shrubby perennial, to c. 50 cm high, monoecious. Leaves subsessile, ovate, obovate or orbicular, 5–30 mm long, usually sinuate-dentate, grey or silvery on at least the lower surface. Flowers in small axillary clusters, sometimes forming short interrupted spikes, clusters unisexual or mixed. Fruiting bracteoles fused to about midway, somewhat expanded toward the apex, the lower half forming a slender or stout stipe, 2–8 mm long overall.
