Scutellaria mollis

Trailing herb, often rooting from lower nodes; branches with spreading, septate, gland-tipped hairs and simple eglandular hairs. Leaves ovate, 1–4 cm long, 7–20 mm wide, upper surface with scattered, usually eglandular hairs, lower surface with spreading glandular and eglandular hairs and sessile glands, apex obtuse to acute, base truncate or cordate, margin rather coarsely crenate; petiole 2–30 mm long. Calyx green, 2–3 mm long (to 5 mm in fruit), glandular-hairy; corolla 9–10 mm long, white with pink markings or pinkish overall, abaxial lip at least twice as long as adaxial one. Seeds prominently papillate, c. 1.2 mm diam. Flowers Oct.–Jan.
