Dodonaea viscosa subsp. cuneata
(Sm.) J.G.West Wedge-leaf Hop-bushCompact, spreading shrubs to 3 m. Leaves sessile or shortly petiolate, cuneate to angular-obovate to narrowly obovate, 0.8–3.8 cm long, 4–9(–12) mm wide, truncate or obtuse, usually shortly apiculate, sometimes irregularly 2–3-toothed, rarely emarginate, entire to irregularly sinuate; lateral venation obscure; petiole, when present c. 1 mm long.
LoM, MuM, Wim, GleP, VVP, VRiv, RobP, MuF, GipP, OtP, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT, NIS, EGL, EGU, HSF, HNF, MonT, VAlp. Also SA, Qld, NSW. Occurring in north-west Victoria, mainly in open woodland and mallee shrub communities, but also rarely in open-forest in high-rainfall areas.
Intergrades with subsp. spatulata, and know to hybridize with D. procumbens around the Grampians.
