Corm bilobed, rarely trilobed. Megaspores irregularly shaped, globular or flattened; microspores absent.

Gold, GGr, NIS, VVP. Also WA, SA, NSW.

This variety is tetraploid or pentaploid, and the megaspores are presumed to be apomictic.
