Oncosiphon piluliferum
(L.f.) Källersjö Globe ChamomileErect or ascending, simple or few-branched annual 15–40 cm high. Leaves oblanceolate in outline, mostly 1–2 cm long, 5–10 mm wide, 2-pinnatisect, ultimate lobes under 1 mm wide, surfaces grey-green, pubescent, base amplexicaul. Capitula 1–few, 5–8 mm diam.; peduncles to c. 4 cm long; involucral bracts 2- or 3-seriate, oblong to lanceolate, 1–3.5 mm long, unequal, glabrous; outer involucral bracts small, mostly herbaceous; inner involucral bracts largest, mostly scarious. Ray florets absent; disc florets numerous, exceeding involucre, yellow. Cypselas cuneate, c. 1 mm long, ribbed and papillose on inner face; pappus to c. 0.2 mm long. Flowers spring and summer.
Naturalised in WA. Native to South Africa. Known in Victoria by a few old collections from Coode Island and Geelong.
