Sprawling or rarely somewhat erect herb to 30 cm high. Leaves 15–210 mm long, 80–60 mm wide; segments linear-oblong, 1–6 mm long, less than 1 mm wide, flat or subterete; petioles 5–110 mm long. Common peduncle 5–60 mm long; bracts (2–)4(–6); rays to 10–45 mm long; umbellules 4–14, 10–25-flowered; bracteoles 4(–6); pedicels 2–7 mm long. Flowers with ovary tubercled; nectary shortly conical, raised above the fruit apex. Fruit elliptic to broadly elliptic or ovate to broadly ovate, 6.5–8 mm long, without conspicuous sterile apical portion, with tubercles on median and lateral ribs. Flowers Sep.–Oct.
Known in Victoria from two collections made over 100 years ago (Geelong foreshore in 1906 and Coode Island in 1912). Native to South Africa.
