Thysanotus tuberosus subsp. tuberosus
Perianth segments 10–20 mm long; sepals with apical mucro c. 1 mm long. Stamens erect, outer 3 straight, 4–4.5 mm long, inner 3 curved, 6–9 mm long. Flowers Oct.–Jan.
LoM, GleP, VVP, VRiv, GipP, OtP, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT, NIS, EGL, EGU, WPro, HSF, HNF, OtR, Strz, MonT, VAlp. Also SA, Qld, NSW, ACT. Scattered in light forest and heath at low to mid-altitudes through much of the State, but very rare or absent from the far west.
Previous records from the north-west are apparently all attributable to Thysanotus baueri while those from the far south-west belong to Thysanotus tuberosus subsp. parviflorus.
