Leaves several, linear, ± terete, 15–35 cm long, 2–4 mm wide. Scape erect, 10–25 cm long. Flower solitary, erect, white, green at base, sometimes tinged pink; spathe 2–4 cm long, exceeding pedicel; perianth segments free, 3–5 cm long, oblong to narrow elliptic, slightly spreading; stamens equal, c. half the length of perianth segments; stigma capitate, minutely 3-lobed. Capsule c. 10 mm diam. Apr.
