Tetragonia decumbens Mill. from South Africa previously grew at Coode Island near the mouth of the Yarra River between 1908 and 1911 but has not been seen there or anywhere else in the State since. It is a succulent-leaved perennial with pedicellate flowers having numerous anthers and fruits (to 2 cm long) with prominent wings.
