Flowering stem 20–40 cm tall. Leaf-blade to 15 cm long and 3–8 mm diam. at base, mostly green, apex lax. Flowers 10–25, green and white, fragrant, in an open to moderately crowded spike 8–15 cm long; ovary obovoid, to 4 mm long; sepals 5–6 mm long, dorsal sepal ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, striated, lateral sepals free, ovate-lanceolate, parallel to divergent, erect, margins strongly incurved; petals linear-lanceolate, 5–6 mm long, incurved or spreading, acute to obtuse. Labellum subsessile, ovate, 4–6 mm long, reflexed at about 90 deg. near middle, often concave, margins crisped or undulate, white; callus lanceolate, narrow, greenish, channelled, thickest near the bend, extending two-thirds of the way to labellum apex. Column appendages oblong, to 2 mm long. Flowers Nov.
Only about 50 plants are known in total. There are currently no herbarium specimens, so no mapping in VicFlora, for this taxon.
Related to Prasophyllum diversiflorum, but has smaller greenish flowers, narrower labellum, different callus plate and earlier flowering time.
