Erect shrubs. Leaves linear to narrow-linear, 13–45(–60) mm long, 2–4.5 mm wide, margin recurved to revolute, sinuate, subentire or shallowly lobed. Capitula in corymbose clusters; peduncles 16–50 mm long; ligules mauve or blue. Flowers Nov.–Feb.
VVP, GGr, HSF. Restricted to the Grampians National Park, often at somewhat elevated sites (250–600 m alt.), occurs in heathy woodland on sandy soils.
