Psilurus
Leaf-blades narrowly involute; ligules minute, truncate, membranous. Inflorescence a slender, usually gently curved spike, jointed below each spikelet. Spikelets 1-flowered, recessed into the narrowly grooved axis; glumes solitary (paired only in the terminal spikelet); lemma narrow, far exceeding glumes, membranous, apically awned; palea equal to the body of the lemma; stamen solitary.
