Psilurus incurvus

Few-leaved annual, culms very fine, usually far exceeding the leaves, to 20 cm high (but often less than 10 cm). Leaves smooth and glabrous; blade mostly less than 0.5 mm diam. Axis of spike scabrous-pubescent; glumes scale-like, c. 1 mm long; lemma 3–4 mm long (excluding awn), about one-half as long as internode; awn about as long as lemma body; rachilla sometimes elongated with a second, sterile floret.
