Exceedingly close to Ranunculus victoriensis and distinguishable only by the more dissected leaves with the lamina often about as wide as long, and the ultimate segments generally more widely spreading and linear or linear-lanceolate. Flowers Nov.–Jan.
HNF, VAlp. Endemic in Victoria. Rare, occurring in grassland and open Snow-gum woodland, chiefly on and near Mts Hotham, Loch and Feathertop, with isolated occurrences on Mt Bogong and The Bluff.
