Trees to 10 m tall; crown composed of adult leaves on the outside and pre-adult leaves to the inside; inflorescences 7-flowered; buds shortly pedicellate; fruit sessile or shortly pedicellate. Flowers Jan.–May.
GipP, EGL, EGU, HSF, Strz. In Victoria from near Yallourn east to Genoa, typically occurring around seasonally dry freshwater swamps in Gippsland, but also on poor stony slopes, e.g. north of Toongabbie and between Bruthen and Buchan.
