Bushy shrub to c. 3 m high; branchlets glabrous or minutely pubescent, viscid. Leaves opposite, shortly petiolate, lanceolate to narrowly ovate or elliptic, 4–11 cm long, 1–4 cm wide; upper surface shining green, viscid and/or resinous-punctate; lower surface whitish or yellowish, with dense, appressed T-shaped hairs. Capitula 8–15 mm diam., in rather dense terminal corymbs; involucre narrowly conical, 3.5–5 mm long; bracts c. 3-seriate, graduating, resinous, virtually glabrous, but margins ciliate. Ray florets 1–2, white (rarely pinkish), ligules 3–7 mm long; disc florets 3–5, yellow. Cypsela cylindric, 3–4 mm long, 6–8-ribbed, sparsely sericeous toward apex; pappus bristles straw-coloured or pinkish, 5–8 mm long. Flowers Nov. and Dec.
