Leaves c. terete, 2–10 mm long, under 1 mm wide, upper surface with a medial furrow, lower surface rounded; petals minutely pilose within. Flowers mostly Sep.–Oct.
LoM, MuM, Wim, VRiv, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT. Also SA, NSW. Mostly in mallee on sandy soil, but grows among rocks near the summit of Mt Kooyoora, west of Inglewood.
The leaves of this subspecies are typically glabrous, but in some populations (especially those in parts of the 'Whipstick' area north of Bendigo), they are conspicuously pubescent.
