Annual herbs, with branched hairs. Leaves oblong to lanceolate, not deeply lobed. Sepals erect; petals clawed; stamens 6; style thread-like, stigma slightly bilobed. Fruit spreading, about as long as broad, indehiscent; seed usually 1.
2 species of Europe and south-western Asia; 1 species naturalised in Australia.
