Olearia glutinosa
(Lindl.) Benth.Bushy, glabrous shrub to 2 m high; branchlets and foliage viscid (more prominently so on drying). Leaves alternate, linear, 18–40 mm long; 1–2 mm wide, midrib prominent beneath; margins plane to recurved. Capitula 12–19 mm diam., in compact terminal corymbs; peduncles to c. 1 cm long; involucre urceolate, 5–6 mm long; bracts 2–3-seriate, graduating, glabrous, viscid, darker toward the obscurely ciliate apex. Ray florets 4–10, mauve, pink or white, ligules 5–8 mm long; disc florets 6–12, violet, white or yellow. Cypsela cylindric, 6-ribbed, 2–3 mm long, glabrous or weakly sericeous between ribs; pappus bristles straw-coloured or pinkish, 4–5 mm long. Flowers Nov.–Jan.
