Minuria
Perennial (in Victoria), or annual herbs or subshrubs; indumentum non-glandular, or plants glabrous. Leaves mostly alternate, narrow, simple to toothed. Capitula solitary, terminal, subsessile to distinctly pedunculate; involucral bracts in 3–4 rows. Ray florets female, in 2–several rows, white, blue, mauve or pink, style branches papillose; disc florets apparently bisexual but cypselas aborting, fewer than ray florets, corolla (4–)5-lobed, yellow, anthers attached just below throat of corolla, each with a short, acute, membranous terminal appendage, style branches minutely pubescent. Cypselas of ray florets flattened, ribbed, often pubescent; pappus bristles free, barbellate, in a single series; cypselas of disc florets abortive, linear to narrow-elliptic; pappus of few long, free, barbellate bristles, often surrounded by shorter bristles or scales, often weakly fused into a cup.
