Philotheca myoporoides
(DC.) BaylyShrub (rarely a small tree) to c. 2.5(–4.5) m high; branchlets glabrous, with many oil glands, lacking dark, stipule-like excrescences. Leaves oblong to broad-elliptic, (130–)20–120(–155) mm long, 5–35 mm wide (rarely obovate, 8–15 mm long and 3–6 mm wide), apex acute to rounded, shortly mucronate, leathery, surfaces often darker above and paler beneath, more or less flat or somewhat folded, dotted with many small oil glands. Inflorescences axillary, 3–8-flowered; pedicels borne on a common peduncle. Flowers 5-merous; sepals broadly deltoid, c. 1 mm long; petals elliptic, c. 8 mm long, white, glabrous (but often papillose within), not persisting in fruit; anthers with two prominent glands beneath white apiculum; ovary pyramidal, glabrous, carpels free for most of their length. Follicles prominently beaked, c. 7 mm long; seed flattened-ellipsoid, 4–4.5 mm long.

There are ten subspecies occuring in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria; four in Victoria.
